Out of Her Depth

LOVE & MURDER IN KEY WEST: Meggie Trevor (LAST ISLAND SOUTH) is back, ashamed she's working security for the guy who wants to be Porn King of the Florida Keys. Her mother had better not find out! Mixing it up with arts patrons, amateur sex stars, and a shotgun-toting chef, she's not even sure of her friends in a town that's never been scruffier, or more dangerous. JOHN C. BOLAND's "Last Island South," which introduced Key West investigator Meggie Trevor in the pages of Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine, was a finalist for the International Thriller Writers Association's "Best Short Story" award in 2009. The Shamus-nominated author's short stories have appeared in national magazines for more than thirty years. This is his eighth novel. "Roars along like a BMW in heat." (Kirkus Reviews on DEATH IN JERUSALEM).
